Watch Party Recap -- FA Who?
About 30 alumni and friends gathered at Fox & Hound in Overland Park Thursday, Sept. 8, to watch the Pokes take on the Owls of Florida Atlantic. Cowboys won 23 to 3. Congrats to Coach Gundy, coaches and team on their second victory. FAU's Coach S is getting used to losing to the Pokes.
Several new people were at the watch party, including Jonathan, a baby clad in an OSU onesie likely making his very first watch party! Thanks to everyone for attending. Attendees were from Belton, Prairie Village, Olathe, Kansas City (north and south), Lenexa, Overland Park and Independence. There also were a few out-of-town guests, in KC from Bartlesville and Springdale, Arkansas.
During halftime, Joe Davis welcomed everyone and provided a brief chapter update. He also encouraged people to donate to the Katrina relief fund that OSU also is doing in Stillwater and other OSU campuses.
Have to point out that a Miller Beer rep was there and had a raffle of his own. Robert Williams won a Miller tail-gate party at a Chiefs game. Wes, a guest of some OSU alums, won an electric guitar. Many others won t-shirts and other Miller items.
Check back for details about our next watch party. Depending on television coverage, it will be either Oct. 1 (Colorado) or Oct. 8 (Missouri).

During his one season at OU in 1995, Schnellenberger started the season with a 4-1-and-1 start, but the Sooners won only once the rest of the season. The team was dealt back-to-back shutouts in its final two games, including a 12-0 loss to OSU. (from OKC's KFOR Channel 4 television station.)
