The basketball team will be in Las Vegas over Thanksgiving weekend for the next rounds of the Las Vegas Holiday Invitational. Jackson State was the losing foe in the first round.
Please note Coach Sutton missed the season opener due to chronic back pain. He was on the sideline for the team's second game on Sunday. An AP story states that game "provided plenty of highlight footage with a barrage of high-flying slam dunks and acrobatic lay-ins."
