New Cowboy
Of the students selected by "The Kansas City Star" as the 2006 Scholar-Athletes, one graduating senior is headed to Oklahoma State. Shawnee Mission Northwest graduate, Tucker Weems indicates he plans to don the colors of the Cowboys in the fall of 2006. Kansas City Cowboys congratulate Tucker on the honor of representing his school and are glad to welcome him to the OSU family.

■ Ranked 12th in class of 462 with a 4.6 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale. Earned four varsity letters in cross country. All-Metro runner of the year in junior and senior seasons, winning the state cross country meet both seasons. Academic all-state team and all-Johnson County pick. Finished second in 3,200-meter run and selected to All-Metro team. Club 121, YoungLife, High School Heisman nominee. College: Oklahoma State.
