Pokes Move To 2-0

Younger KC Cowboys at the Sept. 9 Watch PartyWith a crowd of probably more than 60 orange-clad folks, Fox and Hound in Overland Park should just officially change its name to Boone Pickens North (and a little east). Kansas City Cowboys showed up in force and were ready to root on the Pokes. Thank you to all OSU alums, friends and supporters attending the Kansas City Cowboys watch party.

There were a few people hollering for Florida and a few more wearing an "ugly orange" on the other side of the place watching some game pitting No. 1 and No. 2 in the country, but all those in the right shade of orange were focused on the Cowboys and their 35 to 7 win over Arkansas State. Oklahoma State now boasts 13 straight regular-season wins over nonconference foes.

Depending on television coverage, Kansas City Cowboys likely will plan on a watch party for the Sept. 23 game against Houston. To date, television coverage has not been announced for the games against K-State and KU.

Kansas City Cowboys are hoping to plan a tailgate gathering for the KU game on Oct. 14. Please post a comment if this is something you'd be interested in joining or would like to help organize for our alumni chapter.

What Cowboys & Cowgirls are saying:
It was great to see many new faces at the watch party. Hope that you will attend the next event.

A big thanks to Mike Richards aka KCPoke for hosting our watch party and getting everyone signed in. We report attendance to the Alumni Association in Stillwater. Our chapter wants the reputation of being the biggest and baddest when in comes to OSU watch parties. Thanks for attending and signing in.
