Cowboys Outgun Jayhawks
What about basketball? That's often the retort many OSU fans hear when hazing KU fans after a football victory. That basketball game is still several months away. For now, let the record show 42-32.After several turnovers, the Pokes went into the locker room at half time in the hole 14-0. It was the successful recovery of an onside kick in the third quarter that had Cowboy fans believing. Everyone could feel the momentum shifting.
Quarterback Bobby Reid kept passing and it was mostly Adarius Bowman catching. OSU rolled up 603 yards. Reid threw for 411 yards and rushed for 46. His 457 years set a school record, topping the 434 yards current OSU Coach Mike Gundy set in 1989 as a student. His performance was against KU as well.

There was a strong OSU contingency in the crowd, with many likely being KC Cowboys.
The Cowboys next take on the Texas A&M Aggies in Stillwater. The Homecoming matchup is set for 6:05 p.m. and is not scheduled for television coverage in the Kansas City area. A&M is coming off a 25-19 win over No. 19-ranked Missouri.
