Pokes Drop Close One To K-State
With seconds left in the game and the Cowboys just barely more than 20 yards away from the winning touchdown, the Wildcats forced the game-ending interception. K-State's go-ahead touchdown was scored with less than two minutes left in the game. The Pokes effort to come back started with an almost 40-yard kickoff return, but ended with the interception. The Wildcats won the game 31-27.

I was there in 1981 when Jimmy Johnson went 4-7. Jimmy Johnson went 7-4, 4-7, 6-5, 4-5-2, and 8-4 over those years and we should have hung on to him! There is a reason that Freshman and Sophmores are doing well at O State! One, they were recruited and two they are better in talent than the Junior and Senior classes, with due respect. This team is only a few underclassman mistakes (and yes as far as coaches go Gundy is an underclassman) from being 5-0 right now headed to a game with Kansas. Gundy has cleaned the program up, players know what is expected of them if they want to play at OSU.
