Basketball Watch Party - Jan. 10 v. Kansas
The orange faithful will gather at Fox and Hound in Overland Park Wednesday night, Jan. 10, as the Cowboys travel to Lawrence to take on the Kansas Jayhawks. Both teams enter the contest ranked among the Top 10 in the country. The Pokes are coming off an 81-77 win over Baylor, while this game will be the start of conference action for the 'Hawks. Do you part to cheer on the team. Wear orange!Beginning at 7:15 p.m., there also will be a short chapter meeting of the KC Cowboys. There will be an opportunity to volunteer to help or lead various activities for the chapter. We hope we can count on your participation.
By the way, football standout Adarius Bowman may be making his basketball debut against KU. Coach Sean Sutton announced over the weekend that Bowman will be joining the basketball team. This is good news for the Pokes' short bench.
And the good news doesn't stop there! Bowman is expected to return to OSU this fall for his senior year of football eligibility. Coupled with Bobby Reid and other talented Cowboys, it could be an exciting football season.
