Mario Boggan's 37 points were matched by Texas standout Kevin Durant. But in the end, it was the Pokes on top. After three overtimes, the No. 11-ranked Cowboys beat the No. 21-ranked Longhorns. Final score: 105-103.Seven Cowboys scored in the contest, with four players, including Boggan, in double digits. JamesOn Curry was the next leading scorer with 28 points. Without a doubt, the eventful, unbelievable contest was a team effort.
The Cowboys will now travel to College Station, playing No. 8 Texas A&M, on Saturday, Jan. 20. Game time is 7 p.m. All KC Cowboys are welcome to watch the game at Fox and Hound in Overland Park.
