Pokes Take On Troy
Friday, Sept. 14, the Cowboys travel to Alabama to take on the Trojans of Troy. Kansas City area alumni might remember that this is the school that managed a win against MU just a few years ago. So, it might seem like a little-known school, but it could be a strong foe. Troy also went to a bowl game in 2006.
The game is scheduled for ESPN2. Although it is on television, the chapter is not hosting a watch party.
Make plans now to attend our next watch party on Saturday, Sept. 22, when the Cowboys host the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Game time is set for 2:30 p.m. The hope is we'll be rooting the team on to its third victory. Ride'em Cowboys!
By the way, are you a current member of the OSU Alumni Association? Although alumni membership is not required to participate and hang out with other Kansas City Cowboys, it sure is a great way to further your connection with OSU alums.
